E0 - Freezer thermistor failure

Compressor and freezer fan run continuously. Freezer bar-graph display will be off.

  • Displayed if measured sensor value is open circuit or short circuit
  • Resets if the sensor value is correct (not open or short) error is omitted
  • Check wiring
  • Replace sensor
  • Check control module

E1 - Fridge DEFROST SENSOR FAILURE

Defrost heater will be switched on for 25 minutes during normal defrost.

  • Check wiring
  • Replace sensor
  • Check control module

E3 - Fridge thermistor or sensor failure

Fridge bar-graph display will be off. Sensor value is incorrect either open or short.

  • Check wiring
  • Replace sensor
  • Replace control module

 

E4 - Defrost heater failure

  • Check wiring
  • Check defrost heater for continuity
  • Check module

E8 - Icemaker or ice thermistor sensor failure

  • CHECK ICE MAKER WIRING
  • CHECK ICE MAKER SENSOR
  • CHECK MAIN MODULE

E9 – ICE MACHINE FAULT

  • CHECK WIRING
  • CHECK ICE MAKER UNIT
