    A plumber came to repair a dishwasher at my rented flat. Once complete ,the company rang me to ask for payment ,but as I occupied I could not call them. The engineer in his anger ,disconnected the washing machine and threaten the tenant for non payment. Unknown to me I rang the company who had left 10 messages within and hour. Luckily I rang the tenant who told me what had happened. I would not use such desperate companies and they obviously do not believe in a professional service and to behave in anger and dismantle his work is not worthy of an adult world.

    The engineer give a 30 min notice in advance, so I made my way back home from work, so I didn't waste my time waiting. Did the job quickly and efficiently.Very happy, Will recommend!

    I contacted Happy Appliances about a year ago. The tradesman came round and explained the one off fee and that if I had any problems they would be back within the year to fix it at no charge all I would need to do would be to pay for parts.He diagnosed that the issue was a broken heater. He didn't have the part and would need to order it.I then received an eyewatering quote for a new heater..In fact I could have bought a new washing machine . Out of interest I went to Hotpoint to check the retail price. I was surprised to learn that the actual cost of the part was around £40. Whilst I appreciate paying a little extra to the contractor for administration this was over 3x the cost of the part and it was not made clear that there would be a mark up so the unsuspecting would just assume this was the price of the part.I challenged this with Happy Appliances and bought the part directly which as very good tradesman fitted. 9 months later the machine broke down again. It was a challenge getting them agree to come out until I highlighted the commitment on the website that I had paid the one off fee.The tradesman they sent was appalling. If it hadn't been my house it would have made a good commedy sketch. He spent 10 minutes pressing the on and off button. He then started searching for the water pipes under my kitchen sink as opposed to behind the machine.When I said that the connections were behind the machine he looked completely thrown. He tried to take the skirting board off with a screw driver and has damaged it as a result. I ended up removing it as he didn't know how. He then started pulling out different screwdrivers looking at them as if he had no idea what they were and he tried to remove the machines outer casing ...ie the frame without turning off the power. At this point I stopped him as he was a danger to himself and to my kitchen. My advice to you avoid at all costs.

    I had a problem with the heating element of my oven so I contacted Happy Appliances. The customer service was very polite and helpful. I got a thorough explanation of the costs and the whole procedure. They even managed to provide a slot, even though it was a last minute call. The engineer was on time and changed the old heating element very quickly without making a mess. They also provided a 1 year guarantee of the repair undertaken! I highly recommend this company! Very reliable! 5/5

    Steer well clear - they messed us around for almost three months. Sent engineers four times who clearly had no idea what the issue was, they just wanted to collect the money from the landlord. Was told in writing ‘your appliance is fixed’, in response to our consistent reports that nothing had changed (the problem actually worsened after they first came to the property). Totally incompetent.
